Right now, it’s barebone, I mean really it is. You enter the person's First and Last RP name and it’ll just happen I guess. I feel like there should be a total revamp of it though.
So, when you go to the tab it’ll have a lot more information to fill out. Not only with the First and Last name, below that it’ll have a dropdown with possible crimes, in contrast to the normal booking the warrant system will allow to have multiple crimes. For example if a person had evaded then resisted the warrant system will allow you to issue a warrant for their arrest for both of those crimes and the system will automatically add the time when booked. Under that there will also be a section for Additional Details. It’ll have a max of 500 characters and is purely to give other officers more context. After all fields (besides additional details which will be optional) if the suspect information is correct then it’ll ask in an popup “Are you sure you wish to continue?” and under that in small italics “Note: If caught abusing this system you can be moderated.” It’ll then have an Green “Continue” button and a red “Cancel” button. If the user clicks continue then an UI notification will show saying if the operation was successful or not.
After the warrant is issued, in the CAD, it’ll show up with this information in the normal sidebar with current UI:

Booking for warrants
If a user has a warrant for their arrest AND it’s been active for 5+ minutes in the booking system it’ll override the normal UI with “THIS USER HAS AN WARRANT” \n “This user will be booked for warrant crimes, do you wish to continue?”(insert green and red button). If the continue button is clicked, it’ll auto book with appropriate crimes and time, if the no button is clicked, it’ll show the normal booking UI instead.
Issuing warrants for LEOs
I feel, just to give the FBI more content as it’s kind of low on content, only the FBI should be able to issue warrants for people who are currently on the LEO team. If a person who’s been whitelisted for LEO but isn’t on the team, normal LEOs can still issue a warrant for their arrest. If a warrant for an LEOs arrest has been issued, it will allow them to be holdable and arrestable by all law enforcement agencies.
Safeguards & Moderation of system
To prevent mass issuing of warrants, if you issue 2-3+ warrants within 1 minute it’ll automatically give a 45 minute ban along with a flag in the moderation system. This way the user can’t physically issue more and allows moderation to investigate what happened and do a permanent blacklist from LEO teams if they are found guilty of abusing the system.
Along with that, if you are caught issuing unlawfully warrants you will be temporarily blacklisted from joining any Law Enforcement Agency teams, this means RPD, RC:SO, CHP, and FBI. The blacklist could range from a day to a month depending how severe the situation was.
With all of these in-place, the Warrant system won’t allow for proximity autofill, meaning you MUST have the user’s RP first and last name.
